Sarah Harding – the blonde one out of Girls Aloud – has recorded solo material.

Harding has worked with long-time Girls Aloud collaborators Xenomania to come up with a trio of new tracks for the sound track of St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold. Harding also plays the character of Roxy in the film.

Girls Aloud’s MySpace announces: “The rest of the album includes other original Xenomania tracks recorded by the Banned of St Trinian’s and also ‘I Predict A Riot’ (Live From Wembley) by Girls Aloud!”

The film will be in cinemas from December 18 and the soundtrack will be in shops on December 14. You can, if you so wish, pre-order it here.

Following the American r ‘n’ b trash of Cheryl Cole’s first solo record, we’re intrigued to see what Harding has come up with.
