NME has published its 100 albums of the decade with Is This It by the Strokes coming out on top.

The Libertines got the best British album accolade with their debut Up The Bracket coming behind the New Yorkers.

Funeral by Arcade Fire was named the seventh best record with Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream, Radiohead, the Streets and PJ Harvey making the top ten dominated by British artists. Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol complete the top ten.
